we have that ser cristor fella..the head kingsguard and now hand
hes the father of Rhanyers' two sons right?[
Jace and Luke’s father was Harwin Strong, brother of Ser Quinten Tarantino. It was a huge plot point last season and mentioned in this most recent episode.
I dont even care if this isnt true i just want some steamy shots with Jace as soon as hes of age..not with his mom though..but this is the targaryens..it probably will be with his mom
He’s betrothed to…let me do some calculations…his aunt? Second cousin once removed? So it’s a little bit better than his mother.
the ever living curse of jesus on whoever it was invented that second cousin /cousin twice removed bollox...untangling string theory would be easier..
but he sounds safe enough here to marry her? he was kinda flirty with his...aunt? in this episode? the one that has the moondance dragon?
theyd be a happy couple they both get on.
*it was Tolkien we have to blame for it, as it turns out.

Loved this episode.
Everybody just needs to calm down. But of course they won’t.
Alicent *finally* knows the truth about Aegon and the prince that was promised. She could put a stop to the whole shitshow but of course won’t.
But I’m just glad it’s been cleared up and she knows now.
Man the casting and performances on this show is god tier. Each and every actor bringing itheie very best. For that alone I’d love this show.
We’ve 5 episodes left sadly.

That episode restored a modicum of GoT excitement in me again. Very well done. I loved the haunted house approach to Harrenhal.

The visions and the dark witch that spoke to Daemon there. That became a big thing in the books.
I’m not sure they have the time to do it here unless it’s carried into the next season

Great Spectacle stuff. It’s thrown the cat among the pigeons in the politics of it all though.
A bunch of cats in fact.
Here for it

The effort put in to make each dragon unique really paid off

That seems to be the thing that’s really landed both with fans of the books and fans of the show who haven’t read the books.
Astonishing work by all involved to get that on screen and make it look so terrifying and real.

Dragons barbecuing thousands of men: I sleep
Dragons killing one another: Real shit?
But for real, that was brutal. Props to the showrunners for not holding back, but that was not an easy watch. I think it was mostly the shrieking and yelping. They're like big puppy dogs being forced to fight.

I watched it again. So much heartbreak in there.
She knows he has a bastard son. Having to fight her dead daughter’s dragon and flying off to go home and turning around realising she can’t and being killed by her daughters dragon.
Even Aegon is pitiable in this one.
Looks like he’s still alive though. Don’t know how they’re gonna go about that. I can’t remember what happens in that book thankfully.

Yeah, the book readers are spoiling the shit out of this on various social media. Twats.
- Spoiler: show
- I thought Aegon was a goner. He certainly should be dead after all of that.

I haven’t seen that thankfully. Just all the complaining about the changes and diversions and chopped up timelines.
People do love complaining.
- Spoiler: show
- Aemond was 100% gonna finish him had Cole not came up. It would have been a mercy killing I’d say. He would have made his life much easier had he killed him and Cole there and then.

- Spoiler: show
- The latter would have been insane due to how many witnesses present (even a routed-by-dragonfire army has easily-bought eyes) but I would absolutely love to have seen Daemon whoop Cole's ass. Then they could get Otto back (a giant piece of shit, but a tactical genius -- this series' equiv. of Varys/Littlefinger).

Obviously they need Cole for the big horrible ending coming for him. He’s the main bad in this. He makes littlefinger look like a saint.
But Daemon does hate him and knows what he’s about and up to with the queen regent etc
Coles in his way.
Deffo agree about Otto needs to come back. But I think everything has to fall apart first. Which is where we almost are I think.
And you’re right again. Everyone saw what happened in the sky above and on the ground. As mad as it all was that tale is going to grow in the telling and get exaggerated to death before it reaches kings landing and everywhere else. This is the signal and call to war for all.
No good outcomes for anyone.

Ps I’m terrible with the names and can’t keep track of them.
Or their lineage and relationships.
He killed his own auntie on that dragon in that fight?
