Yeah those first few days I thought he really needed to go. I still don’t like him, but he’s created a pathway to top 3.
I think it’s 3 v 3 now, and whoever wins immunity probably guarantees top 3 for their “group”.
But Rachel still has the block a vote, and doesn’t Sue have an idol? If Sam, Genevieve, or Andy win immunity, the other three just need to play those two items just to make sure they stay ahead during tribal.
I think Rachel has an idol and the block a vote.
She's still in the driver's seat but that was a great move by all. This show is the best.
We couldn’t believe they actually pulled it off. We don’t like Andy either, but damn! That’s top shelf gameplay.
Phenomenal!
I spent much of the episode distracted by Sue’s hyperpigmentation. Not that she has it, but that it seems to move around. It’s like the mole on Richard Lewis’s face in Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I did laugh when she told Caroline she had a smudge on her face. Well done, Survivor producers!
Lol. My mom watches this and she texted after this episode and asked "why is Sue's face always so dirty?"

We’ve been trying to figure this out, too. After Caroline made the comment about her wallowing around in the mud all the time, we settled on dirty face.

Has to be hyperpigmentation. It’s also why she looks so old. It’s just sun-damaged skin.

But she's only 45 and they all believe her!

Isn’t she actually like 65 or something?

Yes, so far she’s in the driver’s seat.
Sue playing her idol. Lol. Cool she was able to hide it for so long but when she played it she looked like she thought it was the best move ever.
For me, she’s just been a member they take along for the ride. No real threat all around.

Had a really nice Survivor related moment yesterday. My parents live about an hour and fifteen minutes from us, but lately in their older age I feel like I'm not seeing them enough. My dad and I talk a couple of times a week, but less so with my mom. She watches this, so on Wednesday nights her, my wife, and I have a group chat live during the show. Yesterday, we decided on a whim to drive down after work, texted her right at 8 saying we were having problems with our TV and jokingly suggested we should come watch with her. five minutes later we knocked on their door and she was all smiles. To top it off, we all wanted Andy gone so this was fun to watch with her in person. She's been texting all day how much she appreciated it. See your folks while you can, friends.

That's a great story!
Yes, and it was so nice to see Andy get eliminated.

One of the best posts I’ve ever read here. Thanks for sharing that.
2 thoughts during the penultimate episode:
1) Fuck the boring ass sanctuary. Rewards used to be helicopter rides and swimming with jellyfish. Now it’s a fucking lunch at an island Holiday Inn Express. This show’s budget should be a bit higher.
2) So sick of players saying they’re “proud” of themselves. I’m so proud I won a balancing challenge. I’m so proud I made it to the merge. I’m so proud I played the game I wanted to play. Everyone needs to stop being so chuffed with their unimpressive accomplishments.
I hope Rachael wins. Not being able to make fire is the only way she should lose. Sue would be my next pick. Teeny hasn’t done shit. Sam looks like he should be a beast. He’s done less than Teeny.

I used to like teeny but she’s gotten too whiny. I’m hoping for a Rachel win as well

I thought:
- Spoiler: show
- Rachael had a near perfect resume. Even if you though Sam was "scrappy" enough to make it to the final, it was hard to vote against her. The only thing she really could have added was sitting in and winning the fire challenge, but fuck that. She wasn't my favorite person out there (I liked Kyle) but she was the most deserving winner I've seen in a while.
