Would you feel comfortable if he were in the front row and your job was to make the audience laugh?
you're asking a disabled trans girl, someone who is the subject of bad comedy constantly; I wouldn't fear being punched because I would go out of my way to not base my comedy around insulting people; it's easier than you think
Again, pretty sure he was just complimenting how well she was pulling off the short hair... and yet he gets physically assaulted.. so may be harder than you think. Maybe you could just joke about, like, .. well i guess there's nothing left when there's crazy in the room
you can parrot "she's hot though" till you're blue in the face, it doesn't get any deeper

No, listen.. it's what he said. He said, you look like her, who is attractive. He thought short her was her choice, her style, and complimented her. I struggle to see any insult there. Even more so now that he says he didn't even know she had baldness. You struggle to not find an insult, because it's your default.

he used none of those words, not one
we are arguing over things we think he was silently conferring, and you are trying to re-steer me into some correct position in which your interpretation of what he was inferring -- if we read between the lines -- is the right one
it's weird

I'm going to quote him word for word, so we can leave interpretations out of it:
"Jada, I love ya, GI Jane 2, can't wait to see it, alright?"
then he begins to look as baffled as I feel

That's also not true--at no point did I attempt to summarize your argument beyond repeating your claim (that Will Smith smacking Chris Rock was an act of resistance, something you said in this very thread).

Point taken. I did extrapolate. Love you, meaning, he loves her. That's already a sign he's being nice. Then, he says, GI Jane 2, ... knowing Chris Rock thought her hairstyle was a choice, he was just saying, you have short hair. He didn't say it was ugly, or say anything like that. Right? Wouldn't you think he'd compare her to someone unattractive like Shrek if he were trying to hurt her feelings, instead of Demi Moore? Just tell me how you think any of that is insulting, please.

I wonder what conservatives think about last night. Is Will Smith a hero for fulfilling the role of patriarch and defending his family? Is Chris Rock just another victim of cancel culture and the loony left's policing of language? Is the whole thing a big pedophile celebration? Much to consider.

and I still stand by?
and you repeated to go "lol" and point out how ridiculous it was? it was one word; if you're upset by me interpreting your words and relaying what I understand of them back to you, maybe you'll accept that I might be upset that I typed a whole lot of stuff and you chose one word of it to isolate and mock
I used the word very consciously; it's a word I use when someone employs "violent" means to "punch up", as opposed to when someone is "punching down", or laterally; I don't think I have to explain those concepts to you, but this fight wasn't two men having a contest over the size of their dicks; if it was just that I wouldn't care
