Did you buy booze?
that was most of the $377...costco booze is not a deal in Washington state
Did you buy any of that special Costco-blend bourbon bammer’s always going on about?

Kinda want to buy an Audi but I think I'll be smart and buy a boring ass Toyota.

Why can't European cars be more reliable?

Think I'm going a Prado next.

Yeah, nice. Prado isn't a bad shout. I'm not going to be covering as much distance as your crazy ass but being able to drive onto the beach would be a plus.

Maybe I'll just shave in a skullet and get an old Hilux or Surf.

It's the servicing cost of a European car that'll keep you poor over here son

Our Q5 Sportback has been nothing but a lemon since we bought it a year ago. It’s been in the shop about 5-6 times. It’s a shame, as we loved our first Q5. My wife is ready to drive it over a bridge.

Never driven an Audi but my daughter's boyfriend has one and it seems pretty smooth. I knew Chris would be an Audi guy.

Agree on the maintenance cost issues of Euros though. Thankfully my bestest mate is a damn fine mechanic and I have a deal with him. I sort all his accounting, he sorts all my mechanics. I just pay for parts + 10%. So far its been great, but of course if I had a major issue we'd have to revisit the arrangement.

Toyotas are generally reliable as fuck and just keep on going. Toyota tax is a real thing though, but probably worth it for the long term running benefits.

Somehow the run of a single car family has been somewhat workable. Until now. Probably getting an old Subaru tomorrow.

Too many pick ups and drop offs to manage?
