Today I had two “you need to improve your performance” conversations.

The first one cried. The second one got very defensive internally but did a pretty good job regulating that externallly.

I had one of those last week. She didn’t cry but she expressed great appreciation that I had the talk with her. Definitely not the way I thought it would go. She even texted me a couple of times later that day thanking me even more profusely.

out of nowhere i was nominated for a quarterly award for our business unit. was nominated for embrace yes always.

my choice of prizes are

an oculus
masterclass subscription
happy box
