The guitars. Drums too but mostly the guitars.

The reactions to this song have always been strange to me.

- It comes out on the metal door leak and most people gloss over it without too much much of a visceral reaction (pro or negative)
- The 15 second (March Madness) and 30 second clips (PJ social) come out and mostly everyone is up in arms with how much they think it sucks
- The full song comes out and a lot of the people from bullet #2 are either okay with the song or actually like it.

I just don't get it because it's sounded like the exact same song to me every step of the way but we've gone from 1) Indifference to it, 2) Utter hatred of it, and then finally 3) Genuine enjoyment of the song.

What a ride.

This is why I didn’t listen to the snippets. You need the full song, sometimes even within the context of the album, to fully appreciate it. Look at Running, which we got the 30 second bridge that people lost it over, then the single that people hated, then in the context of the album it all made sense and we like it again.

i hated that clip, specially because of what it seemed to be, a very awful poppy song from Ed, in the vein of Future Days or The Haves,

Luckily, turned out to be a fine song were PJ is doing all sorts of cool things.

I’ve seen this in concert twice and Got To Give never.

So it goes.
