I can finally order Bells now

I understand wanting to get brews that are not distributed in your area but their prices are pretty whack. Save and trade.
true, but I'll pay a couple extra$ for Bells so I dont have to give my name and address to skitch to send me stuff
He'd be the one for the freshest batch I'd say. I make sure to pick up Bell's when going through VA in my travels. Where are you again? I feel I had an idea but totally forgot right now.

Doug lives in Monaco, so he can't get too many good American beers. He pays top dollar to have Pliny the Elder shipped over to him.

Pliny of any age I would pay for seeing as I have never found someone to part with a bottle.

I've been given the grave responsibility of curating a 12-tap rotation of beers for the restaurant I work at. I want to keep it focused on seasonality and locality, but I'm also wondering if I should always keep a stout on. Super excited about this, guys. The winner of the beer tournament will get to pick a beer to feature on my wall at some point during my career doing this (based on availability and the season, of course.)

See if they'll give you a nitro tap. You can keep stouts rotating on it for most of the year and maybe throw in the occasional ESB or English Pale Ale.

We have a nitro tap...but for some reason, it's hard to move kegs on that one. :/
In the past, we've only had to order a new keg for that tap every two weeks, whereas the other eleven taps blow every four or five days. On nitro right now we have Left Hand Sawtooth, and we have their Milk Stout ready to tap next. Those are all holdovers from the last guy who ordered. I need to get through his inventory before I can really begin.
I'm 100% behind using that nitro line for stouts.

We're also one of the only restaurants in Houston that has to go through a retailer instead of a distributor, due to a really obscure beer law governing roughly one square mile of this zany, unzoned town. I haven't had a look at what that really means in terms of selection, but I know enough to know that it means these kegs will always cost a little more.

No plans to expand our beer program further, friend. However, the owners just opened an ice house that focuses exclusively on craft beer, and THEY have a cask installed.

Sixpoint just can't miss. I'm taking in a couple of Apollo's this fine Independence Day, and they're hitting the spot.

Haven't had the Apollo, not too much a fan of wheat beers but I agree that Sixpoint has been pretty solid overall.
Edit: Had an Apollo with lunch today, I can see this being a nice hot weather beer... plus I don't believe I've had a Kristalweizen before. I also screwed up my utappd ratings, Apollo should have been 3.5 and Donnybrook a 2.5

I have to say ... that Victory Summer is a pretty respectable beer.
