I was 11 when that happened--definitely left a big impression on me in retrospect. I think it was difficult for my parents to explain exactly why this was happening. Thankfully, In Living Color helped to fill any void.

The crossed eyes are essential to selling the joke that this is a man who was beaten near to death. It's pretty funny.

Paramedics who attended to Denny said he came very close to death. His skull was fractured in 91 places and pushed into the brain. His left eye was so badly dislocated that it would have fallen into his sinus cavity had the surgeons not replaced the crushed bone with a piece of plastic. A permanent crater remains in his head despite efforts to correct it.

mc p, i'm sensing some anger directed my way, but seeing how this is a message board and in general i tend to agree with your point of view on things- would you kindly explain the sub-context you got going on about reginald denny and if i've been offensive in some way that indicates a disdain towards the poor white guy that got beaten severely during the riots?

The protesters blocked a freeway in my neck of the woods. I was relieved that they announced the decision towards the end of the commute. Sucks for Ferguson though.

So the stepdad is now telling the protesters to "burn this bi*ch down"

a few days ago, it took me 17 minutes to get home from work instead of 14 because of some construction and i nearly fell victim to the vapors. so i have to say this is a real tragedy for the people of ferguson.

it is simple to sit here and say the cop shot him in cold blood and it's simple to sit here and say the cop was justified in doing so for he was in fear of his life

i doubt we will ever know the whole situation or the truth but i would hope everyone can agree the violent protesting that ensued will never help solve the problem but only add to it and others prejudice
