Supposed to do 3 tomorrow, 5 Saturday, and 8 Sunday. Don't think I'll have a chance to run this weekend, though, so I'll do the 8 tomorrow. I'm hoping to finish in an hour.

thanks! i hope i don't seem like i'm fishing for compliments. like i said in an earlier post, i just like the idea of being accountable somewhere, and this thread works for me. i don't have a facebook page or twitter account or blog or anything, so this is it for me.

Got in an exta workout last night. I normally go to the gym three times a week but can tell a big difference if I get in a fourth. Wasn't a full workout but enough to kick my butt.
Still feeling it in my legs today. Not really sore, just aware they're there, if that makes any sense.

2 miles in 17 minutes and 30 seconds
I made it to 1.6 at 7 mph tonight and might have made it a bit further but my ipod started to have the sound cut out and it distracted me, so i dropped to 6 mph until 1.85 and went back to 7mph to finish.
I really feel like my breathing isn't getting better, but its probably because i keep trying to push it, but im struggling to breathe by the half mile to 3 quarter mile mark and just doing my best to push through it, but i probably got done running a half hour ago and im still coughing because my chest and throat are irritated.

Practice breathing throughout the day through your nose only. And don't eat fries of any kind, just tots.

So tots are not only tasty but also helpful in the workout process?

Are you worried that he'll get a bloody nose by breathing?

10 miles in 69 minutes
Took an extra day off yesterday because my arthritis was nasty. Joints were better today and I was jonesin' for a run. Felt great the entire way. 35 out. 34 back with a nice half-mile finishing kick. Weather was perfect. Sunny and cool. Fajitas and margaritas at our favorite Mexican place afterward.
Thinking about doing the Terrible Towers again on Sunday.

This week was good.
Tuesday a 50 minute treadmill run. Wednesday yoga and bike sprints.
Thursday powder ski day ( you'd be amazed at how the lungs and legs burn)
today was a Ski and Yoga day.
Happy.

Nah, not really. The breathing may not even be good for you if you get a bloody nose - so just never mind my advice.
