Happy to see Fargo was still in my dvr to record new episodes; I wouldn’t have realized a run has started. Nice to see the early positive response here so it will be Thanksgiving viewing later today or tomorrow.
I think S2 is one the best single season shows I’ve seen, over S1.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Saw the first episode; hope the others aren’t filmed as darkly. Even adjusting the settings it was hard to see sometimes.

Casting does sound very good.

Really enjoyed that first episode. I don't love when the show gets too close to the movie, and the episode did dwell on movie moments a little too long and a little too closely for my tastes. The movie is so perfectly built that anything that resembles it ends up feeling weak by comparison. Obviously, the show quickly subverts that and went to a couple cool places. But, yeah, personally I'd prefer fewer close similarities to the movie.

Took me a bit to place John Hamm’s son in episode 2. Steve Harrington!

This show is great. I goddamn love that it's back. This is shaping up to be the performance of Hamm's career. We'll see...

His dialogue is killer
Totally. And his physical life, his whole presence is fantastic. Feels like he's really in his element. Love to see it.

The episode discussions on r/FargoTV are a great read. Nothing gets past those nerds.

That might be the best episode of this series so far. Holy shit.

Going from the vampire of Midnight Mass into this series with a sin eater has me feeling right at home.
As a Minnesotan, I do at times find the exaggerated accent grating, but they get a lot right. When Dot asks to see the pepper spray, the husband says, “The what now?’ That is regionally dead ass accurate.

I fell for it; the last few scenes built up a climax really well and then it pulled the closing credits card. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

There's a real genius to opening the episode with Sixteen Tons. It's fucking profound on so many levels for this season. I can't really handle it. And then to end the episode with an echo of the opening lyric ("Some people say a man is made out of mud") by showing a man covered in mud is fucking next level.
Everything about this show is operating on 11. I fucking love it.
