Yeah I agree. It's almost like there should be 2 categories, one for team goals and one for screamers. But as much as I can sit and watch goals like the 2 last night all day, it's the build up, guise and movement of a team goal that really gets me going.
Broad statement though it is, I think Wilshere's may be a better team goal than Carlos Alberto's in the 1970 World Cup Final. I said this to a Man Utd fan at work today who normally jumps at the chance to squash any suggestion that Arsenal should be complimented in any way and even he agreed.
Sorry, but this doesn't work for me. One was in a World Cup final against Italy where they pretty much made fun of the entire Italian team one by one. The other in an October league game against Norwich. Let Arsenal do the same in a title decider/CL-final and I might agree. Barça scored goals like these for fun the past 5 years.
Or as some would say: it might be a great goal, but could they do it on a cold Monday night at the Brittannia?

I see what you're saying. They're not doing it on a mild Tuesday night at the Emirates at the moment. Dortmund are so strong and disciplined though so it's not really surprising.

I understand the Scottish FA. Both semis in Edinburgh when for at least 1 of them Pittodrie, the biggest stadium in Scotland after Murrayfield, Celtic Park, Hampden Park and Ibrox, is geographically more neutral!

Spurs suck. All the new pieces they brought in look useless and disjointed.

The draw is tomorrow. Who thinks their team is headed for the group of death?

The US is almost guaranteed a group of death.

So is B or D considered the group of death here?

Seem equally tough.
Another tough draw for the US. Add in all the travelling they'll have to do with their games, they'll be hard pressed not to finish last in their group.

I can't envision a scenario where the US advances out of that group, it would take luck to finish 3rd.

G looks like the toughest one to me.
Mexico owns Brazil, but Argentina will somehow kick us out whenever we play them in the second stage.

Belgium likes this. No underestimating the opposition, but if we can't get out of this group, we don't deserve it. Next round potential clash with Germany/Portugal. Auch.
Lol @ England.

It's Italy, us or Uruguay, Costa Rica. And Uruguay are in their own continent and will cope better with the heat, and better with Costa Rica who will also cope better with the heat. I'll be pleased if we go through, put it that way.
