Stone Gossard is the weakest link in the PRAMG era.

I'd rather listen to hard sun than anything on binaural or no code. Possibly riot act, too

Musically. He's gotta be next in line, behind Ed, from a $$$ perspective.

So you would rather listen to this, from a Canadian band, than anything on 3 of Pearl Jam's best albums?

I haven't read the book. The film had lovely scenery but I don't sympathize with McCandles.

If by 'sucks,' you mean "almost identical to the cover stip likes, but without the singer stip likes," then yes.

I know "still" is the operative word there, but I really, really, really enjoy the LO2L version of Even Flow. With Matt new behind the kit, it just feels like the song has this newfound harder edge to it. Maybe more like the song Eddie wanted? I still quite like the studio version (especially the redux), and early live versions with Dave A too. Oddly enough, it's probably the Jack years where I like the song the least.

I can get behind this. Jack was their best drummer but "Even Flow" just didn't seem like his kind of song.

I was listening to some of San Diego '95 last night and reveling in how much Jack was killing "Leaving Here" and "I Can't Explain." Man alive, that guy could hold it down.

I should take that headshake back. A more passionate musical performance, performed by one's favorite singer at the top of his game, does not in any way make a song distinguishable from the original.

I like Black, and this guy is covering black, so my initial reaction that this isn't very good must be off base in some way.
