Do flat earthers really have confidence in their convictions when they continue using globe related terms like "Pole"?

It's called a pole because it's just a pole sticking out of the ground. It's not some silly metaphysical idea of a spinning ball or whatever.

Burt, why do you think that flat earth theory isn't more widely accepted? What steps could the movement take to remedy this?

I don't know it's tough. We'll have to undo entire lifetimes worth of conditioning. How do you deprogram people that are so indoctrinated by physicalism and "muh science" that they no longer trust their own immediate intuitions? You don't. But you can go after the children. Infiltrate the schools, the local governments, advertising agencies, etc. Teach the pre-Socratics. Teach Ptolemy, assuming the idiot masses are even still capable of independent thought. The Ptolemaic system is much more complex than the Copernican one, but contrary to popular belief, simpler isn't always better.

What? The Bible supports a flat earth? I’ve never seen such evidence in my readings.

In Revelation 7:1 it talks of John being so high up above the world that he can see angels standing at the four corners of the earth, which would not only suggest a flat earth, but a square or rectangular one at that

They’re actually taking that literally?

I have no idea, and off the top of my head that was the only verse that came to me at this time that kinda fit the question.....

I thought this update would about Lin Wood being a flat earther.
