That's such a bad idea that I expect they'll do it.
(Also RHCP already did it.)

If you think about it - really think about it - PJ is just a poor man's RHCP ripoff anyway. Just a bunch of RHCP toss-asides (Jack) and didn't-wants (Ed).

I doubt Dave A. gets inducted, Ed is close with the Hall of Fame people.

The other day I was trying to think of what friend (non family) I had been in the most cities with. Then I realized Ed would beat any of them in that count.
Not that I was with Ed mind you but we were at the same place at the same time.

There is a band doing Corduroy in AvClub.
The band sounds fine, actually doing the song like PJ in 1996 or so, but the singer is horrible.

The Marker in the Sand/Parachutes/Unemployable run is way better than I remember.

It's awesome. Better still if you like Big Wave too.

I think Big Wave is their best "fun/throwaway" studio album song.

The Parachutes/Unemployable twofer is definitely S/T's highlight.

I'm more of a MITS/Parachutes guy myself.

I've come around a bit on Marker, but I still feel like the chorus kind of sinks it pretty heavily. But in general I've often felt that if S/T ended at track 7, it'd still be my least favorite record but it would be ok. Songs on the back half are what really put a dent in the album, IMO.

I have no problem with the chorus.

I adore Marker. All of it. Chorus included.
Really Severed Hand through Gone is just outstanding. I like Wasted Reprise and I love Army Reserve and Come Back.
The album could be 9 or 10 tracks (and remixed) and be one of their top 5 records.

Let's not get carried away here. I like MITS, Parachutes, and Army Reserve. I'm ok with Unemployable and Big Wave and Severed Hand. That's all I can really say about this record.

Parachutes might be.
