Paul McCartney last night in Dallas. Amazing that he can put on a 40 song / 3 hour show in his mid 70's. It was a bit surreal, to be honest.

A Welsh pop-rock band called Kids in Glass Houses. They're on their farewell tour so the shows have been great fun. Will be at the last ever show on Halloween. Never been to a finale before so it'll be interesting to see how everyone responds to the occasion.

I saw The Tea Party last night. Damn but it was hilarious. I saw them in the 90s a few times but I was loaded an was at the bar mostly. Were they always so self indulgent? Their new album has songs about pirates ffs. Most folk loved it but our group of cynical bastards spent more time laughing. They have Nigel Tuffnel on drums. Their hairdresser must cost more than their roadies.

It's been two years since I've been to a show, for various reasons, mostly involving money, but I ended that last night with going to see Zammuto at Mohawk Place in Buffalo. It was a fun show, despite a few technical hang-ups. I wrote a long-winded review on Last.fm, should anyone want to know more about it.

We managed to see them a few times this year, the most recent venue we saw them at in NC was fucking awful for a music venue... My wife decided to go to Our Lady Peace (and bush-meh) in a couple weeks. that should be okay. Ive always enjoyed them live.
