Looks great doesn’t it?

Excited to see the two lads again and go on adventures with them.

Of course I'll go see this movie. And of course I will go in hoping that it's really good.

But I just can't seem to build any enthusiasm for it. Probably the least excited I've been about Star Wars since like 2004.

Hopefully, that will change as it gets closer.

It tells a lot of the use of The Volume that they are talking about this movie not being film all in it, which is a good sign because i would hope the scope of this one will be bigger and better.

AT-AT scene does look cool. I am definitely experiencing Stars War fatigue tho.

No fatigue here.

I wish we had more content. 17 weeks until skeleton crew.

We've had Bad Batch S3 and Acolyte only this year. Both were OK. Nothing overly memorable lbh.

Weve only had Andor S2 announced for next year so far. And outside of Mando/Grogu nothing else is filming atm that im aware of.

Was hoping for a bit more from D23 tbh. At least an Ahsoka S2 update or a new animated series announcement.

Yeah, it's not a fatigue issue for me either. Bring on the content! The more Star Wars the better.

I just don't like the Mando/Grogu stuff that much. The best stuff in the Mando series is the stuff that isn't necessarily directly about them. Grogu isn't that interesting of a character to me yet.

But I do like the idea of a movie more than a full S4 of the show. So, that's a plus.

Maybe they can turn the series into a Bo-Katan show. That would be super rad.

You all saw Zeb in that trailer right?

He’s right there.

So Zeb means Ashoka and Luke and Ezra and and and are obviously gonna be in this

Didn’t someone at Disney already say this movie will be the end of the Thrawn as the baddie storyline? I’d expect boba and bo- kataan and the mandalorians to be in this as well

This all takes place before the time of Rey and the sequels. It’s my understanding the Rey movie takes place after rise of skywalker

Forgot that.

Question stands though. How are they gonna tell Joe Public these are two different things?

Joe Public stopped giving two shits about Star Wars a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

Like they normally do, in the crawl.

No. The Thrawn stuff is going to culminate in Filoni's New Republic movie. Not in this movie.
