The band re-doing Sleeping by myself was really tough.

sleeping by myself is a gem. both, but especially the lightning bolt version. adore that song

It has some competition, certainly, but I think it's the single worst Pearl Jam song.

I like both versions of SBM but the full band version, however delightful, didn't belong on LB (none of it did, a weird mish mash)

SBM would have been ok as an Xmas single.

It’s placing on lightning bolt side B is incorrect.

Those last 4-5 tracks on LB is far and away the worst run of songs on any Pearl jam album, ever.

Swallowed Whole, Sleeping by Myself and Yellow Moon are all delightful songs.

Sleeping by Myself is awesome on LB. It might have been a better surprise if it was released as a b side, yes.

Would a 20 second clip from a new song be too difficult?

One every couple days would get us to the week of the album release.

The song two after that (Future Days) takes the prize for my least favorite Pearl Jam song on an album. Turning Mist might be the overall winner though.

Swallowed Whole -> LTRP -> Sleeping By Myself -> Yellow Moon -> Future Days is a delightful run, even though a few of those songs could be hugely improved by less sterile production
