Come on dude. I know you can't see past your constitutional right to bear arms. But this dude is a politician. You can't tell me you don't believe in just a little bit of restraint after an event like that? Quit looking at it so black and white.

I don't believe that a school shooting makes pictures of nonviolent people holding guns problematic in the slightest.

But I could see why people who are anti-gun think said photos are problematic. They genuinely can't conceive of someone who doesn't tie the two together.

I get why they feel that way, but for Massie to agree with that view would mean he agrees that he shares moral culpability.

It'd be like asking Muslims in your neighborhood to cancel Eid al-Fitr because ISIS just committed some atrocity in the name of Islam. They don't agree and had nothing to do with it, so why should they feel bad celebrating a holiday?
