totally. Even thematically you have Boot Camp and then Been Away Too Long is they almost talk to each other. Its pretty much the same character coming back.
All joking aside, King Animal does not sound like a band that had been away at all. They had such a natural chemistry that even all those years later they were pretty easily able to come up with a massively creative album that was as true to them in 2012 as it was in 1997.

yeah, i think one of those reasons was that Ben wrote a lot of stuff for both DOTU and KA.

Awesome, thanks!
Pretty sure I only saw one show at Port Chester not too long after it reopened.
Sounds awesome!
Weird that they went with mono flac files, I exported to stereo wavs.
Are there more?

I was listening to Black Rain earlier today with headphones on. I don't think I ever listened to it with headphones before. You can clearly hear that the verses are 90's Chris and the Chorus is 00's Chris. I never noticed that before. It all works together really well.

yeah, i remember them talking about how they re recorded it and they were amazed on Chris´s vocals and how good he sounded in 2010 too.

Bought Badmotorfinger on vinyl, and this one is still so fucking rocking. Heavy as fuck.
Cant believe it was Ben´s first album and he got to do many stuff with them here. Even already writing songs.

I love Hiro but Soundgarden became a very different beast when they added Ben and his song writing.
