Rey being the Emperor's vessel would go a long way towards explaining how quickly she picked up the Jedi arts. I like it.

3POs memory gets wiped the end of ROTS remember. So everything is gone. All the prequels and his clone wars adventures.

Not at all. 3PO barely knew Anakin. R2 was Anakin's droid and buddy all through The Clone Wars.
