Fuck off with the McCain love. He allowed the elevation of a dumb, you betcha, anti-intellectual, redneck wet dream hockey mom whose rise to prominence, in turn, helped nurture the crazier supporters of the GOP today. I hope his poisoned heart explodes.

i think he ended the election run a far worse person than he was when he started

gotta be a very grueling experience. and you can see where a person can end up losing themselves progressively in search of votes. making 'deals with the devil' here and there for support. and then eventually when you're losing, getting desperate.

but in fairness to him, he did silence that person in that town hall that wanted to get all 'obama is a muslim' or whatever

and now X years later and that's basically the second major policy point of that party

doesn't make mccain a great person

but he was a decent enough person at one time that karl rove had to put a smear campaign on him to take him down

Can you guys foresee a scenario that would cause the two "sides" to start moving toward each other again? I can't. They really hate each other in scary ways. It's not even philosophical anymore. It's gone completely tribal. Don't act like you're not the same way, libtards.

It's unlikely that he had it anyway, but now there's no way Trump will get the highly coveted $úñ_DëV|L vote.

A culture based on insular, isolated experience and stratified social bonding cannot move beyond that. If anything, we are in for much, much worse.

Really though, our global relevance will only continue to shrink, so our protectionism and reductionist fears can only matter less and less. It is the fate of all fading powers to become conservative as they retire, and that conservatism has little to do with description provided by polical party boundaries.

ST, you know what to do: Go write the whole explanation out in a series of tweets @realDonaldTrump. Then before you click 'send', go take a dump. When you come back, even if somebody else has already explained, then click send.

Twas' a fine consolation to heartbroken republican voters and fine patriotic american democrats and independents alike. It will be difficult to eclipse in the forthcoming 2016 release: Humpin' Trumpin'; and it's Eurozone edition: Dumpin' und Hümpin' Drumpfin'

One of the most frustrating things about this election is the dominance of the protectionist/economics is a zero-sum game/there will be losers so America must be the winner factions.
