I get the idea that there are many alternate versions of events just from the facts of the three films we are exposed to in the show, but is the mechanism for the films explained eventually? And does it have anything to do with Hitler's fascination with the occult? because that would be a cool real-world tie-in.
Yes, you'll get answers about the mchanism for the films. Hitler's arc is interesting in season 2.

To punish you for your spoiler error, I'm going to wait a few hours to answer that.

that's fair.

The guy who plays the shopkeeper could play Data in a TNG reboot, or some android subset.

Him and Juliana are the two most annoying characters on the show.

You know, I was thinking while watching the show that the only nation I can think of that enjoys flying their own flag as much is us.

"Black Spot" (french)

Interesting show so far, nothing revolutionary, but definitely captured my interest.

I watched the trailer for this last night. Only got half way through the trailer before I couldn't take any more. This show is certainly not for me

Different strokes and all that. I just didn't like any of the characters in it - I can understand the appeal, but just not for me

I've only watched one episode. But I can say with definitive certainty that no it is not. It is not either of those things.

It does have some strengths. It's certainly not "bad" on its face. But it's not for me. Even though there are a few qualities that I appreciate.
