I'm surprised there is less Zelda chatter here. I have it for the U. I am 20 shrines in and just stumbled upon Zora's lair, so I've really just scratched the surface.

Initial thoughts:
I initially hated the shrines, but they've grown on me.
I am surprisingly most annoyed by the rain, though weapons breaking is a close second.
I don't really play video games. This world is mind numbingly big to me.
Horse riding kind of blows, but the parasail is so much damn fun.
It sure is pretty.
I am taking my sweet ass time, but I am going to be sad when it's over.

I heard speed runners are doing this in under an hour. Wtf?

I love Zelda. Yes, the rain sucks since you can't climb or do fire puzzles or activities. Yes, weapons are too disposable. I'm in and out of the menus a ton. I switch between the Stealth gear, Zora gear and Climbing gear often. Randomly exploring is so much fun. It's genuinely a major evolution of the franchise. It's spectacular so far. I got goosebumps when I got the Master Sword.

I'm waiting to really get into it until I beat Horizon. Decided two huge open world games at once was too much. Loved what I've played so far. I turned off the HUD and like how completely open it is.

I'm on spring break this week. Just got 4 inches of snow. That's not my world this week, though. I'll be in Hyrule breaking weapons on bobokins.

It's great. But all of the perfect reviews were a bit much. It's not perfect.

I was gonna buy it for the wii u, but honestly my friends with the switch are really making me want to get a switch

On most sites, a perfect score does not mean a game is perfect. Just really fucking good.

All the resource/inventory management and scanning makes this a non-starter for me and ME:Andromeda. I'm worried it'll be Fallout 4 all over again.

I went with Zelda on WiiU instead.

I wonder if I buy it on the wii u and then eventually get the switch will my progress transfer
