Protip: get COVID and you'll have bedtime reading time all day.

I don’t know what this says about me, but I have never read a digital book. I’m analogue baby.

My wife falls asleep easily and I do not, so I primarily use my Kindle in bed so I can read with the lights out. It's good for travel too. Otherwise I much prefer a print copy.

So that’s the one drawback - I need a backlight for reading in bed. My wife can fall asleep to it, but if she’s already asleep I feel badly walking in and throwing a light on to read.

I've been reading through Kindle on my iPad almost exclusively for a year and I doubt I'll ever look back.

Hey ST...

There's a new (to me at least) bookstore in Brooklyn near BAM. We went the other day and it's a great shop. We always like to buy something at new places to support them. Just wanted you to know that I picked up:

Nope, never read it! It's been on my Good Reads to-read list for 12 years.

I'm kind of luke-warm on Chabon with the 2-3 books I've read, but while reading The Secret History, I got such immense pleasure from working through a long, plotted story, so I figured I'd give this a shot.

It’s good. He clearly did his research for it.

I know what you mean, I'm nearing the end of TSH and already dreading not having such a world to sink into.
