I loved Mando but at this point i barely remember any of it and it all blends together with the other shows. All this crossover stuff made me sour on it a bit.

Now I feel like I need to rewatch all of it before a mando movie and b is right - that seems daunting.

It's Star Wars so I'll find joy in it but as of now I don't care about a mando grogu movie.

Remember when a season of Star Trek, or X-Files or Buffy would end and you'd want to kill yourself cause you'd have to wait two and half months for a new episode. Now its like two and half years of course you don't remember anything. Humbug.

yeah, i agree the time they take from season to season is just too long. I wanted to see Severance two years ago, now i need to see S1 again because i barely remember what it was.

I’m sure they’re worried about us having to rewatch their programs.

well, after watching the first teaser of the movie, it feels it will be the first time i wont be watching a theatrical SW release.

The thing looks very cheap, very close to the episodes and its basically for children, which is actually ok. But seems i wont be coming back to SW.

Yea that looks fucking awful. The text they used and the way they edited it makes it look super cheap. And fuck Disney right now too....

I'm kind of fascinated about the thought process going on at Lucasfilm. Why are they releasing this theatrically? Who watched that trailer and thought it was good enough to post? It looked cheap for a Disney Jr show. Fraggle Rock would own this.

I guess maybe they are thinking make it cheap anything it makes in theatres will be a bonus over just putting on D+ but they are nuking the brands corpse at this point. If the Gosling movies underperforms they got to deep freeze this thing for 20 years at least and then pretend Luke had a kid no one knew about or something and restart the Skywalker stuff.
