Comfort is an energy.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Pretty sure Stip gave a good reason for this. They had to officially announce it before the tour venues did.
OK, fair enough. But before they even had a tracklist finalised :gomez:
that could be a good thing for the FD haters though, if the tracklist wasnt finalized then they might take reaction to the song into account and drop it, but i doubt it.

I doubt Brendan O'Brien would've let that happen.

Yeah, guys...there's pretty much no way on earth the reaction to something on a message board is going to affect this band's decisions.

definitely not, was was thinking more like if it flopped in its live debut then they might drop it from the album, but i dont think they will do anything like that anyway. i think the tracklist has been finalized but they have some kind of plan on unveiling it and thats why we dont know it yet

Yeah, because that's what good artists do; repeat themselves all the time.
I think he's just looking for more evidence that Don Pendelton designed the cover. As far as I can tell, it's just a person on the Pit that thinks the cover kinda looks like Pendelton's art. A lot of the art on his website looks very similar, and not quite like the LB cover.
Going by his artwork he looks like the guy that did the artwork for Jeff's last solo album.

If only they would read polls. though I don't think 96 votes is enough to sway them:

First impressions of fan audio live performance debut of Future Days
  • Love it 7%
    Like it 22%
    It's okay 29%
    Don't like it 28%
    Hate it 14%

Yeah, but that's just here. If they ran the same poll on the Pit it'd probably be like 88% "BEST SONG EVER."

True, but when probably 90% of the songs would get 88% saying Best Song Ever everything becomes meaningless mush.

Pearl Jam has been by far my favorite band for 13 years, and RM gives the freedom to be honest about my likes, dislikes, and mehs about them. Not trying to force myself to love every song/album, but can appreciate each for what it is.

Too bad Jeff doesn't scan these forums. Unless Jeff is the CC and LIR source ;)

So what are the odds that PJ drop another song before the album comes out? Isn't that what usually happens - main lead single, second promo single released later on to tide people over, then album drops.

NIN have just done it. Soundgarden did it with Been Away Too Long as the lead single then a few weeks later they gave us Non-State Actor. From what I remember, for Backspacer (excluding live performances/those Verizon snippets) we got The Fixer then...Supersonic?

You're the one with all the scoops on album news. I think you should tell us.
