I'm not sure I'd call these issues "glitches"

Yeah it looks like it's just a bad game. It's going to take some massive 'patches' to fix this crap.

I'll wait for the reviews. Remember, this game is made by an entirely different team. I know a lot of people are butt hurt about ME3 and are looking for any reason to trash this game. It could very well be a bad game, but I will wait.

I don't give a shit about technical glitches on Day 1; that stuff inevitably gets fixed, unless it's a massive flop and the devs stop supporting the game unusually quick. But the storyline and characters look a little vanilla and bland, which will just make all the world exploration and inventory management feel tedious without an interesting thread to string it all together.

If the technical issues are that bad and man that is really bad it usually means issues are bleeding into other areas of the game like the overall storyline. Tedious inventory, bad UI, stupid side quests. Ugh.

Don't get me wrong, I've had this preordered for months and no amount of bad buzz is going to stop me from playing any game in this franchise, but I am definitely worried. Again, these don't seem like "glitches" that can be patched; it just looks like bad game design.

Yeah it looks more and more like just bad overall design. I mean I'm still getting the game but my expectation level is way low.

It's an interesting article to be sure. Though this comment:

Great article, definitely relates to my experience. The real world seems rigged, especially as a young man. Work more and harder for less and less of a result. What's the point in that, especially if you don't desire much in terms of luxuries(never buying a house, living frugally, NEVER HAVING KIDS OR MARRYING). Then when you take into account that games are so absurdly fun, engrossing, and fulfilling it's not hard to see this trend growing.
Makes me think they might live in Japan. Or at least I hope they live in Japan.

I think in the next month or two we will start reading leaks from programmers/designers detailing how EA forced them to release Andromeda earlier than it should have been which forced them to cut corners on the overall game design.

Just like the ending of fucking Mass Effect 3. It's s travesty if it's happening again.

Yeah seriously. EA has a long history of doing shit like that and this is looking like it all over again. Dragon Age 2 and its issues were all down to EA pushing it out earlier than it should have been.

Looks pretty cool. Footage I've seen looks like "stealth in an open world environment," but I know Clancy games can get pretty technical. Does this one get very technical?

Andromeda running at 900p on Xbox One S makes me want to kill someone. Fuck.
