Armenia took a week or two to adopt camoflague netting for their vehicle positions. How much longer to enforce spacing for their troops in the open? Yikes.

They had 30 years to prepare. Did they never get
a Serbian advisor involved? The Armenians had something like 3 OSA decoys. The Serbs had decoys of all manner of equipment. In the intervening years the Russians and others have dreveloped inflatable visual decoys with thermal profiles that mimic the engine signature.

The Serbs anti aircraft batteries had good radar emissions discipline and shot down an F-117.

Did Armenia figure this territory would not be in question again? I get that they lack the oil money of Azerbaijan, but absolutely failing in the anti aircraft/ UAV game is bizarre. Engage the drone AN-2s with long range heat seeking missiles if you must.

Armenia hit a populated area with a ballistic missile, killing at least 5. Azerbaijan special forces exectued two POWs. Everything is going great.

it's pretty sad when you see these pictures of the areas that are being bombed

the people already live in such bare cirumstances

concrete wall houses

dirt and stone roads

it's like WTF

who the fuck wants to conquer this territory anyway

these people are so downtrodden already

just fuckin leave 'em alone

and invest in tech stocks you'll get a way better return

The object is not territory. The object is revenge. Its correcting a 25 year old grievance.

Tit for tat ethnic cleansing is largely emotional. Reason doesn't really factor in.

I'm curious if the US ever held cross training events with either country. I certainly hope not.

Armenia keeps on losing significant amounts of materiel. Those dudes that stay in their tanks or MLRS or SAM systems knowing how lopsided the air superiority is... balls of steel.

It probably won't do much to change the outcome of the war though, unfortunately.

Agreed and yet despite the ever increasing evidence, more and more educated people support Socialism. WTH?

To be fair, American ignorance of South American politics, history, geography, culture, and society is not limited by political orientation. None of us know anything

Speak for yourselves, but just a quick note that MAS's (by all accounts) landslide electoral victory this week was powered by their largely poor, rural, and indigenous voting block.
