I guess when the book comes out those will be the official opinions of RM and will represent each of our feelings about each song going forward.stip wrote:the best damn ass-hat in town!Happy Trees wrote:What kind of ass-hat doesn't like "In The Moonlight"?

Just as I surmised.stip wrote:oh my god i forgot evacuation
binaural’s got its moments, but its the highest concentration of bottom tier songs in their catalog.
For me.
And I assume everyone.

"Evacuation" and "In The Moonlight" are too advanced yet deceptively simple a composition for the band's regular wheelhouse, much like a Soundgarden deep cut.Birds in Hell wrote:I thought I was the only one who had this experience.epilogue wrote:I remember listening to Binaural for the first time... and Breakerfall and Gods' Dice were both, let's say lacking. But I remember hearing Evacuation and being like, 'here we go, this is more like it!'
I like Gods' Dice a lot now, to be clear - but Evacuation is top 10 material.
Therefore a litmus test for jammer dumbass, of which there are many.

Three bars of 4/4 on top of two bars of 6/8 is just too much to bear.stip wrote:I didn’t follow this. "Future Days" cued up.
Matt Cameron, no royalties for you.
But tour starts in six hours, don't worry about rehearsal. Will that be an aisle or a window?

Parting Ways is as good as it gets. I would be sad to think otherwise.

Evacuation, Grievance and Sleight of hand are Binaurals best moments... theyve never tried to get into that SOH space again and its a shame they havent. But it would be hard to replicate too. Something of a definitive PJ song that one.
