I'm going to pass. Maybe I'll pick it up in the bargain bin in a month or so.

I've never made it past about the first fifth of Mass Effect 1, though I did get all 3 at a bargain price a year or 2 back. I was going to maybe just skip and let Andromeda be the one I hop in on, but looks like a big ol' no for me.

My friend says gameplay is between 8-12 hours, and that replay value is pretty low: While the individual stories can be altered in subsequent play-throughs, there are no big surprises to be had once you finish it the first time. I'll probably just blow through it some rainy weekend.

But then sometimes I want a game that moves along at a less frantic pace than my go-tos, and this looks like a good one for when I'm in that mood. Plus I still need to play Journey!
