Not saying no is the same as saying yes on policies like this and it was promised, though not always executed, at the local level (where most police are) in blue cities all over the country from SFO to Minneapolis to NYC. And we cannot forgot the beacon of leftist light that is Portland.

I thought Bernie's plan was solid (a search here will yield that), but it doesn't matter because Bernie, like most old white lefties, centers oppression in terms class not intersectional identity. This is why he's not relevant to the young left anymore. They not only believe they don't need, but actively don't want the support of the white working class his philosophy would help. Those are fly-over people that don't even know where Echo Park is.
