Probably, but I hope they give Snoke a story that makes sense in the SW universe, instead of him being some random guy.

Imagine luke and snoke facing off (with Rey and kylo fighting the guards) and snoke reveals to him he's his father?
It could be really cool.

No way - they burnt Vader's body at the end of ROTJ and he force ghosted at the end - he's dead

What if it's gonna have the 'Chewie were home' moment but they'll show Luke and Leia meeting??
Grown men gonna cry me included.
Apparently that was just for the shorter version of the one shown at Celebration.
Nah it won't be. It's for D23 and or comic con. The two biggest cons this year. They won't just do an edited version. It'll have new footage. Probably focused on the dark side.
dimejinky99 wrote:Ok. Trailer B of The Last Jedi, the 1m32s cert PG trailer is just a shorter edit of the first trailer. They have cut little bits out here and there, especially at the very top. There is very, very little difference.

If they do this they could both close the whole saga and bring it all full circle. I think I like it

It would be some pretty serious retconning to go back and say Vader is not dead after being burned.

"After his death, Anakin became one with the Force. Luke escaped the Death Star II, where Anakin had died, just before the space station was destroyed by the Rebel Alliance. Once on Endor, Luke built a funeral pyre and lit his father's empty armor on fire."

Besides - one with the Force = Ben Kenobi "strike me down blah blah" so there wouldn't be a body to burn anyway.

It's an argument for and against, but they didn't burn him.

Sad to think Snokes actual story in canon will not be as intriguing or as entertaining as all the theories about him. Maybe they'll just do a Yoda on him and simply leave him a mystery?
