Bass tone is to die for -- reminiscent of Bill Gould from Faith No More on shit like 'Collision'.
I’ve always loved their music but the effects-heavy vocals always kinda ruin it for me.

It's good, but a bit of a disappointment to me.

There's nothing on there that grabs me as much as "Ocean Eyes" and "Bellyache" did.

i really had no intention of listening to this new album, but i accidentally heard a song through spotify's "discover" playlist, and i'm really digging it

There's just too much hype that's not music related. The album's enjoyable but nothing groundbreaking or warranting the amount of hype it and she are receiving.

She's got a great voice, but she tends to do a lazy delivery too much and the music isn't doing much for me.

I think she's better in a live/acoustic setting than on her albums.

At her best, she reminds me of Kate Bush with an infatuation for trap beats. At her worst, she reminds me of a lazy Twenty One Pilots.

She’s like 16. She’ll probably mature into being more interesting/unique. Hopefully.

I gave it a quick listen last night and liked it. I prefer the harsher sonic elements in songs like "You Should See Me in a Crown" and "Bad Guy" over the tender, dreamy acoustic stuff which can feel kind of ordinary. A lot of neat production touches here and there, like the harmonized vocal tremolo and the super distorted bass synth that pop up throughout. Though I do wish she'd found a place for "Come Out and Play", that's such a sweet song

She reminds me more of early (pre-Chandelier) Sia.

Also, I hope her brother gets to write songs and produce for other artists, because he's clearly talented AF.
