Top show of my life last night. Oh baby. Never seen him before so finally able to check that bucket list item.
Dying to see him again already. Amazing

The new album doesn’t really do it for me but what bums me more is missing the tour, saw him only once before and he is indeed an extraordinary performer, it’s amazing too that he has been for his whole career and during his various phases, it’s quite something to see how he evolved as a performer.

The last couple of records have been pretty high quality but at the same time sort of paint by numbers? I liked them but there weren't many A+ songs over that time, compared to the rest of his body of work.

yeah it's a bit my feeling, really liked ghosteen but everything since is a bit lost on me, and i get that god has been all over his lyrics forever but i wish it was a little less in our face too. Same goes for the red hand files btw, i still enjoy receiving and reading them but it often flies over my head.

I do wish that I had more time to read RHF in detail but he really pumps them out - my inbox is full of them.

lol, yeah, it's hard to work on the backlog, i always make a point of reading them because it's often insightful no matter what but you'd have to start at the current one if you don't have time, you are sure to get down in the rabbit hole otherwise

I bought that interviews book Nick released a few years ago; seems like a good read.
