My sister lives a few minutes from the Cotton Bowl. I need to go down there for that someday and root against the Horns.

I would do just about anything for tickets to that game, man.

The vid is Samaje Perine's highlights when he broke the single game NCAA rushing yards record.

Kind of strange...it was a record that stood for 20years...then some scrub Ohio State RB broke it....and the very next week Samaje broke it again.

7 more days team.

I don't really ever root for the Tar Heels, but they'll be playing against the Gamecocks for the governor's cup. It's really a no brainer for me to go for UNC. I hate the Chickens / USCjr / USuC / Coots, and I'm sick of the SEC, so, I reluctantly say "Go Heels".

So I don't know if you guys caught Bud Foster's opinion on the "total cost of attendance" stipend going to players at Virginia Tech.

Apparently Bud Foster wants to start fining players as a disciplinary measure.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nc ... /32444493/

I find this hilarious. Good luck recruiting anyone who can play Bud, especially considering you're in the absolute middle of nowhere on the downside of your career.

Also, considering how dumb this idea is lets run with it. Lets start fining College coaches for losing games and making dumb Sarkesian style decisions.

Now that even coordinators are pulling down 1.5 million dollar contracts. Let's just fine them 100K for losing games and making dumb decisions. Hell that's not even unreasonable. They get bonuses for winning games, lets start taking it away for losing them.

The hubris of college coaches is unbelievable.

That Montana vs. North Dakota State game was excellent. Glad I chose it over preseason NFL.

Just took a gander at this week's schedule. Some pretty good matchups.

TCU vs. Minnesota (how good is TCU?)
Wisconsin vs. Alabama
Arizona State vs. Texas A&M
Texas vs. Notre Dame

Maybe I'm confusing him with someone else. Wasn't there a slash player around that time (qb/rb) that was really good for Nebraska, and maybe wasn't a POS?
