Any Taylor Swift - Folklore fans here? Normally I would expect flaming for this but since this album was basically written by Aaron Dessner of the National, it's worth giving a listen.

There's a swath of RM that digs it (myself included). Then you've got other too-cool-for-school-ers who want to hurl pejoratives and insult fans. Thankfully, they're the minority. Then you've got a healthy group of intelligent posters who really don't like the album and can offer valid criticism. Basically, we're like an embodiment of the whole internet but less terrible on balance.

It was also a bit of a dig at verb. Because he did imply that FTBC can't be album of the year because it isn't as good as IW. But mostly, the insecure thing.
