Save You is kind of good and exciting, somewhat boring and repetitive but mostly Ed sounds pretty bad so that brings it way down.
Love Boat Captain is comical, like they're making fun of themselves unintentionally.
Cropduster is OK but Ed annoys me here too. It's like he doesn't know how to breathe properly. "death behhhh..d" I like the guitars.
Ghost is Cropduster but not as good. The "away, away" part is cringey. Matt's drums are cool in this song.
I Am Mine is more Love Boat Captain.
Thumbing My Way could be great if it weren't for Matt's completely out of place drumming.
You Are, I admire for what it tries to do, but it fails.
Get Right is OK but I want for to say it's kinda dumb.
Green Disease is OK but a little cringe worthy.
Help Help is just dumb.
Bushleaguer is dumber.
I've always liked 1/2 Full. This is the kind of song PJ always did well. Like Red Mosquito. But Ed sounds a little weird here too. He sounds like a bad actor. Like Ben Affleck doing heavy drama in that dumb gangster movie he made.
All or None is a really good song overall.

Sorry MD, pal. Just my opinion. I didn't go through and listen to all of the songs recently. Going off memory. I did used to be hugely obsessed with Pearl Jam and loved everything about this album back then. I changed.

It's a little high in the mix, but it provides this jangly atmosphere that really seems to be at the core of this album. I don't really get how you could fully appreciate All or None without seeing how these sounds are connected. I would argue that without Matt's drumming/tambourine style on Thumbing My Way, it would be a much more conventional type of song, and the lesser for it.

I like Riot Act, and I like these songs, but I don't think I actually disagree with these takes.

Still like this song a whole lot.

Honestly, I think I like it more than anything they've done since the S/T record.

I really like it, but can't help but wish the drums didn't kick in until the little turnaround around 20 seconds in.

I think it’s easier to like and appreciate the Stone song right away because it’s all up front and it’s got a good groove. I really like the song, but after several listens I’m not sure it’s quite as good as I initially thought it might be. On the other hand, the PJ song seems to reveal its self with repetition, only growing in esteem with more familiarity. I really dig both songs, but the Pearl Jam song is better. I think time with show that for many of you.
After another week, this has been exactly how this has played out for me. Get It Back just keeps getting better, while the Stone song revealed itself entirely upfront and hasn’t earned the same amount of repeated plays. Good song, but Get It Back is great.

The term "cringe worthy" is so cringe worthy.

Give it some more listens and some time. It keeps coming together and getting better.

How can a song be "kind of good and exciting" and "somewhat boring and repetitive"?

It initially kicks you in the ass and rocks, then it gets repetitive and doesn't go anywhere interesting.
