Weekend sport, wife now working, not wanting to get stabbed on the bus. All decent reasons.Monkey_Driven wrote:Too many pick ups and drop offs to manage?LetMeSleep wrote:Somehow the run of a single car family has been somewhat workable. Until now. Probably getting an old Subaru tomorrow.

The trucks are designed to move 'different' from a skateboard to give the feel of being on a surfboard - why they're crooked in the picture.....?tragabigzanda wrote:why are the wheels crooked
this is quite a fucking post while the surf-skateboard discussion is still in flightHiggs wrote:Had to re-stock the toner on the printer at work. Most boring $1,000 bucks I've spent in a long time.
I really should just stop printing entirely, but I just can't. I need paper in front of me, even if I end up scanning and shredding everything anyways.
But bloody hell - a grand! Crazy.
Its a Brother MFC L8900. Its a home/small office multi function centre, but its one of the bigger ones. I have to restock the printer about once a year I'd say.bodysnatcher wrote:Toner costs $1000??? Do you have have one of those massive office printers that’s 4 feet tall?
Nope, need a colour laser that scans. I've been through a lot of printers in my time and while I may complain about running costs, I am very happy that this one just continues to run. I also need a unit with a document feeder that can happily take a stack of 50 sheets to scan, and this does all that.bodysnatcher wrote:Just get a laser printer off Amazon for like $80

I probably shouldn't whinge about it so much.
