Heard a song on Instagram today by Ethan French called Reckless and Arranged - Day 56.

I don't have cache here on RM as far as taste goes so I'm fully willing and ready to say that the new Ty Segall record is a let down.

Ok, officially moving further discussion to the Ty thread after this but I'm 3 tracks into Manipulator and this thing is outstanding.

It's their best record. Met the band earlier this year, couldn't be happier for them.

New Cornelius album is fantastic.
Granted, I've only heard one other from him. The masterpiece, Fantasma. This one stands up to that one.

I wonder if "wake in fright" from Chat Pile's "Intruder" is a reference to the Australian horror film; it would make total sense considering their grimey aesthetic similarity
