Also, those flashbacks to classic episodes with Reggie added we're priceless.

This latest episode was brilliant. Everything I love about The X-Files. Probably one of the best episodes in the entire series run, so far.

Should I watch this season? I didn't finish last seasons, but what I did watch I didn't really like. X-Files always pulls me back in though.

The first episode of this season was a giant mess. But the other three have been excellent. Far better than last season.

Holy shit, the newest episode was fucking amazing. They really went all in on the Mandela Effect/internet conspiracy theories right down to the editing of the show itself.
Spoiler: show
That fanfiction "ending" with aliens giving Mulder "all the answers". :haha:
Now that, that was an awesome episode. I agree with dct, probably one of the single greatest X Files episodes of all time.

Last night looked like it was going to be a MOTW with a slenderman/shape shifter only to turn into more familiar conspiracy plotline. I liked it okay but don't know if I like the direction they're going with the William character or even his story last night. It's a case of a re boot not knowing what to do with a carry over character from the original. It's awful convenient for him to just disappear.

Tonight's may have been my favorite behind the Morgan episode this year. Barring the shitshow premiere, I feel like this season is definitely an improvement on the previous one.

Yeah it was pretty good I thought. Where are they going with it is what I want to know. That final scene?

A light, enjoyable episode that went a bit overboard in the second half. The opening scene after the credits was perfect.
The previews for next week though look fantastically creepy.

I just watched the AI episode and I thought it was relevant and spot-on. One of my favorite X-files.

I liked last night's episode for the most part and the creepy scenes were certainly effectively so. I don't think they quite stuck the ending but it felt like a vintage X Files episode.
Only one more real one left; I suspect the finale will go all conspiracy on us. I've enjoyed this season too and it's been handled better than the '16 run.

Last night's episode had a certain creep factor I liked. Has anyone else thought Scullys character has been overly sullen this season? I bet she just lied there and stared at the ceiling when herand Mulder banged earlier in the season. What's her deal?

It's a shame Chris Carter's likely to come in and screw the whole thing up again next week, because this has been a surprisingly good season of the show. Last night's episode was creepy and nasty, and the final scene between Mulder and Scully was really good (and certainly makes it feel like the show's wrapping up for good).

Yep. Except the previews for the next episode kept reiterating SEASON finale, not series finale. But at this point, I'm ready for it to be over forever. This final season has been so good. It's everything I've wanted (minus a truly horrendous premiere) from The X-Files since the show went off the rails in the 8th season. It felt like we finally had the show back.

Hopefully the finale isn't a dumpster fire and we can put this beauty to bed.
