The one where Hammer is the prison bitch?
I have no idea what this means.
Sam Rockwell's character. He's in the same prison as Kingley's fake Mandarin.
And yeah, they hinted there was a real Mandarin, but that's apparently going nowhere now.
I don't know, man. I never saw the short. I just know all the folks at Collider talk about it all the time and they specifically talked about this exact thing last week and they all said there is absolutely a real Mandarin but no one knows for sure what Marvel's plans are re: the character at this point. But everyone seems pretty confident they'll reveal him eventually.

*shrugs*

I don't really care one way or another, personally.

Well, since there's no solo Iron Man movie anywhere on the horizon, I think it's become a dead plot point. Unless he happens to be in league with Thanos or something...

Well, again, I'm not a Marvel fan per se. I don't know/read the comics, I haven't seen all the MCU films (and I have no idea if I ever will). I have no idea what people are expecting with Thanos and Infinity War and all of that. Maybe you're point is tied into that.

But just because there's no Iron Man movie on the horizon now doesn't mean there won't be another Iron Man film. Marvel and Disney aren't just going to suddenly stop making films in the MCU. There will be another Iron Man film eventually and there's no reason why Mandarin can't be in their long term plans still. Maybe he's not. That's entirely possible, too. But I guess I don't see why it makes sense to totally write off the idea at this point.

I will. I got sidetracked last night. And I'm at work today. I'll try to watch it tonight but I have to be up early for a race tomorrow, so I'm going to bed early. I'm off Monday. So, that should be the day.

This movie is responsable of Chris Pratt doing the exact same character for ever.

Uh. Interesting. I'll comment further once I've seen the film. But I already disagree.

That's because Chris Pratt has zero range.

Are you really interested in seeing him stretch as an actor?

I'm always interested in seeing good actors, yes. If there's more in him I want to see it. Why wouldn't I?

Guys, stop it.

Well he went from the fat goofy guy to the muscular goofy guy I think that's all we should ask.
