Why is Winterfell still on fire in the opening? Wouldn't that be put out by now? Please, no spoilers.
I dont think we are meant to take it literally, it is more to show it is destroyed. It is not completly in ruins but it was damaged. Don't read too much into it. I think they think it just looks cooler that way.Coach wrote:Why is Winterfell still on fire in the opening? Wouldn't that be put out by now? Please, no spoilers.
It is cool how they changed the opening, I just thought by now they'd change it to perhaps a bunch of buildings in ruins....but, if the damage was big enough I guess it's logical to conclude that it might still be smoking....intodeep wrote:I dont think we are meant to take it literally, it is more to show it is destroyed. every group had their own theory about it, but the likeliest explanation was the return of dragons to the world.Chris_H_2 wrote:Dragonszeb wrote:Also, I may have missed it but wasn't there some sort of kerfuffle about a meteor in the sky at some point in season 1 or 2? Pretty much the question book readers have been asking about every direwolf the entire time.tommymctom wrote:What happened to Jon Snows Dire wolf?
Agreed. That has been one of the disappointments with the show. The direwolves are such an awesome part of the books.intodeep wrote:Pretty much the question book readers have been asking about every direwolf the entire time.tommymctom wrote:What happened to Jon Snows Dire wolf?
