I'm torn, on one hand the Grizz probably match up better with the Heat than the Spurs.....on the other hand Zach Randolph and Tony Allen are thugs/gangbangers. Anyone remember the Zach Randolph MTV cribs where he had a "free larry hoover" poster framed and hanging on his wall?

Lebron is very upset with Frank Vogel's completely true remark that Miami is 'just the next team':
http://espn.go.com/nba/conversations/_/ ... -just-team
Here's what Vogel actually said btw:
“It’s exciting, but this is not about getting back at Miami,” Vogel said as his two daughters sat on his lap. “If you’re in the final four you’re competing for a championship. And they’re just the next team that’s in our way. That’s how we’re approaching it.”
ESPN is trolling....

This. And so are you kinda lol. I don't think LeBron is "very upset."
"We're not just another team," James said. "I don't understand what he's saying. But we're not just another team. That's not true. He said we're just another team in their way. We're a great team. If we're just another team, you really don't prepare for just another team. You have to prepare for us."
This marks the second straight postseason the Heat and Pacers have engaged in a war of words (THIS is a war of word??? Bit desperate here, methinks) before facing each other. Vogel was fined $15,000 last spring for saying the Heat were "the biggest flopping team in the NBA." Indiana took a 2-1 series lead before the Heat won the next three games while playing without injured center Chris Bosh.
James said his ears perked up when he heard Vogel's postgame remarks Saturday night after the Knicks series. The Heat and Pacers play Game 1 on Wednesday, a series that starts six days after Miami ousted the Chicago Bulls in five games.
"We're very confident," James said. "We'll be ready for them. We don't need bulletin-board material. We've heard everything, we've seen everything. But I would say we're not just another team, though."
But poor listening skills, perhaps. LeBron is right that the Heat aren't "just another team," but that's not what he said.

These playoffs have felt totally disjointed and still haven't really gotten into a good flow for me yet.

Stop winning series in 4 or 5 games. I feel like this year hasn't as been as bad as some in terms of the time between games, but then again I've watched a few games of pretty much every series.

The Association's playoff schedule has always been baffling. This is nothing new.

Waiting until Wednesday is ridiculous. Its all a ploy by Stern to make sure the West winner is rusty when the Heat come limping in after getting clubbed by the Pacer goons for 6 or 7 games

The Grizz look like a team that is simply in over their head. They have the talent to run with the Spurs but not the understanding of what it takes. They should be a threat in the future....but not anymore this year. Also, Zach Randolph: GD Nation is very disappointed in you. What would Larry Hoover think of your weak showing the first two games of this series?

I don't do it often, but I'm gonna go ahead and be Cocky Heat Fan for just a moment. This series is gonna over fast. I don't understand why people think it's gonna be 6 or 7 games. Sure, the Pacers play tough and it'll be a battle physically, but I don't this thing goes longer than 5 games and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a clean sweep. There I said it.*
*I had to say all of this now because I'll probably have egg all over my face 3 hours from now.
**And the little bit of Cocky Heat Fan in me is going to become Very Nervous and Scared of the Spurs Heat fan very soon, so I had to do this while I still could.

A whistle every time down the court, it seems. Killing the flow of what has been an ugly game.

Ray Allen couldn't guard a traffic cone at this stage of his career. Shame on the Pacers for not exploiting that more.

Crazy lucky 3 pointer to force OT.
