I've found some torrents of this remaster but none of them seem to work. So if anyone can help a brother out...

This guy also did a remaster of the Flaming Lips "Embryonic", and it is amazing. I can actually listen to more than 10 minutes of the thing!

I think the production definitely shaped people's attitudes towards this record, even if on a subconscious level.

If an album is unpleasant to listen to, you're simply not going to return to it very often and it's unsatisfying when you do. It's understandable that most people then presume the songs themselves are at fault when, at least in this case, I don't think that's entirely true.

These songs are better on the whole than the songs on LB. This mix makes me want to rank this one above that one.

Agreed. The production lacks any unique character. That has always been my biggest issue. As far as the songs themselves, I think I enjoy about 40%. Some are interesting and the rest sound like they mailed it in. Riffs like WWS and SH just seen so uninspiring.

This is the case for the last three

The album should have ended on comeback. And ccomeback should have been extended.

I haven't had time to DL it either. I want to, and I'm very interested to hear it, but I've been busy as hell. All the comments have definitely torqued my interest. :ohyeah!:

Well yeah. The highs here are pretty high. The lows aren't as low as LB either.

Life Wasted is still .... well, a wasted opportunity. And Inside Job is still Inside Job. Everything else, even the stuff I already loved I'd even better.

Even Comatose is somehow better!

I like Life Wasted, but wish there was more happening in it. Like Breakerfall or Gods' Dice.
