Well despite the entrenched battle lines between marvel and DC fans, those two companies really do need each other's properties to do well. Course it's all very carefully managed and scheduled so none of their films to directly up against each other but to my mind people are bored of all this. As they soon will be with Star Wars films on a conveyer belt.

the only thing i would have changed was how spiderman was handled.

instead of the MIT scene show stark at Shield headquartes looking at a database and screens of unregistered heroes/villians
daredevil/jessica jones/cage/spiderman/dr strange/ironfist/purpleman/punisher etc

stark zeros in on spiderman due to his high IQ and science background

then you could have him meet "spiderman" while swinging through the city and go from there

Spider-Man was totally pigeonholed in, but he was a blast so who cares. He was extraneous to the story, but no more than ant-man, and they were both a pleasure to watch. His inclusion wasn't distracting and didn't undermine any story arcs or plot points.

I know you're not disagreeing peeps. Just a general comment on my part

I loved the whole spidey bit but his line to tony about that 'old film' meaning empire strikes back was hilarious

both antman and spiderman as far as lines and sequences were great. though this ant man seems more eric ogrady than scott lang (still not sure why they went the lang route though im sure the angle of living up to his daughters vision could be why)

spideys oh shit comment was great

you should just get yourself a nice cam copy, average size screen, and quality headphones and go to town on Thor 2.

That is way more effort than Thor 2 deserves.

My other half watched it with me, not a fan of these kinds of films or comics at all and he thought it incredibly disjointed and it didnt hold his attention at all..he also made the point 'i thought this was a captain america movie? its more like just another avengers movie'
