i just watched the youtube clip of all of their late night appearances. there's definitely a point where you can see how the drugs started to ravage him.

I watched the 2010 Letterman performance last night and he was pretty far gone. :shake:

Tiny Music and No. 4 are pretty perfect rock albums, especially the latter. Every song is good.

I definitely prefer the single version of Creep to the album... the latter oddly being the choice for radio stations around here.

The first 20 seconds of "Sin" sound huge.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that "Down" is my favorite STP song.

I remember being so exited to see the video, it was the premiere of the song, and the return of stp after a long time...and there it was ...DOWN. Amazing song, great video...god, n4 is so so good...

I never really noticed until now just how many of these lyrics deal with addiction, depression, death, hopelessness. It's not as immediately noticeable as stuff like AIC because the music is so energetic and, often, sunny, but it jumps out after what happened to Weiland. "No Way Out" is pretty brutal and hopeless. :(

Yeah, he really nailed a lot of those subjects. I love the lyrics of Black Again, its the best description of someone who suffers from depression, while the music is pretty much upbeat....Hello, Its Late is another great example.
