Bern Your Enthusiasm might be one of my favorite sketches ever.

To absolutely no one's surprise, I like it.

I didn't love it. And it has plenty of missed opportunities. But you guys made it sound way worse than it really is.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm brutally critical of this show because it brought me such profound joy in other eras.
Ah.

That actually makes sense. I'm someone who has been pretty uninterested in this show for a very long time, so I can't say I share the sentiment. For me, as someone who hasn't watched regularly since Wayne's World, I'm probably not as critical.

This episode was fine. Exactly fine. There were some great laughs and some super dumb moments, too. But overall, I enjoyed it. BC was funny. Solange was boring. But on balance, I had fun.

The cold open was cringe inducing, then Chappelle killed the monologue.

I agree with chud. The cold open was confusing and silly and self-serious and dumb but Dave Chappelle's monologue was on point.

I think people are overrating Chappelle here. I like the guy, but this monologue is nothing special.

I haven't even seen it, but I can almost guarantee it's pious and self-important. This show is 95% garbage right now.
Hillary Clinton plays the entire song of "Hallelujah". There are no jokes (unless you consider the whole scene as one big, oblivious joke).

Apparently, the concept that a tall black woman might have sex with a needy white guy is a joke?
