Im kinda tired with the dougie arc. Bring Coop back. I hope they explain how dougie exists in the first place...but for now, just bring Coop back.....
I think they basically did already: he was a decoy so that if Coop tried to come back, Bob wouldn't be pulled into the Black Lodge. Honestly: that's the most clearly explained plot point so far this season.
That was the explanation? I want to know how bob created him at least.
This ain't Lost, homie.
Yeah, the how isn't all that interesting to me. I'm much more interested in seeing how the "unexpected" results play out now that both Coopers are out. And that shit ain't supposed to happen.

Episode 6
Spoiler: show
- I want all the bad things in the world to happen to Richard Horne. The hit and run scene was gut wrenching. I have never experienced a reaction like that. Maybe it's because I have two little kids and I always worry about that kind of stuff, but that was one of the most upsetting things I have ever watched on screen.
- I'm assuming Hawk found the missing pages in Laura's Diary? I can't believe it never occurred to me that the pages would be the missing piece of evidence.
- I'm so glad that they brought back the giggling waitress.
- Diane!

Spoiler: show
Well that was a fairly straightforward Twin Peaks episode until one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen on screen happened.
Also, I heart Naomi Watts in this.

I'm so happy Harry Dean Stanton was around for this reprise. I was JUST talking about those trailer park happenings a few pages ago. Weird.

No kidding. He's such an intriguing character.
The Secret History of a Twin Peaks spoiler:
Spoiler: show
I get the feeling that I'm the only one on here that has read the book, but it provides a little bit of backstory on his character. In FWW he makes a statement about "not wanting to go back there". This is a reference to the Black Lodge. He was abducted as a child along with The Log Lady, and either the mayor or the mayor's brother (I can't remember).

Not sure I want to read that book, honestly. Just that spoiler alone has me conflicted.

It's a weird line a lot of us are toeing with this show from week to week now that we're actively watching it with other fans. On the one hand, discussion of characters and scenes inevitably leads to theorizing, but on the other hand I just want to live in the shadows of this mysterious world observing and feeling everything as it happens onscreen.

I'm interested in that scene I mentioned above more because how it's woven into the theme and mood of FWWM than I am in that character's extensive backstory, yet I still find myself drawn to knowing as much as I can about him and that place.

Truthfully, you don't get much from the book. It's mostly the history of the owl ring. It fits in pretty well with keeping the mystery of the show.

Outstanding episode. Tense. Violent. Hilarious. Awful. Stuff is coming together in only the way it can on Twin Peaks. There is so much here to digest and discus and thunk about. I fucking LOVE this show.
