Every humor scene was just awful. Thats added by whedon. All the script changes he made are awful.

That's a shame. Was hoping JL would be a huge success.

I haven't seen the movie yet.

Finally seeing this. The story is a bit over the top. Feel like this should have been better.

Done. The ending didn’t change how I felt about this being uneven, but I will definitely see the sequel.

Just crushing dreams left and right.

If WB had just left well enough alone, I guarantee the DCU would have plenty of fans and supporters by now. It wouldn’t be Marvel, but it would be perfectly successful and respected in its own right. But noooooooo.

And Wonder Woman 2. And "The Batman." But not with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Watching this tonight for the first time. It’s dreadful. Zero chemistry among the actors, wooden performances, shitty writing, and nevermind the fact that the movie just looks awful. Everything looks so fake and sound stage/CGI. For example this scene I’m watching in the cornfield. Ugh all around...they just have no magic with these DC movies.

I put the visual effects in this movie on par with Star Trek:The Next Generation.

I know that I watched this movie, and I remember thinking it was alright, but I hardly remember anything about it. I need to watch it again. JL2 really got cancelled? That sucks.

You can't even remember the first one. So why does it suck that the second one got cancelled?

I finally saw this for the first time as well on HBO last night. Your review is absolutely spot on--my expectations were already low to begin with, but somehow it still managed to disappoint. I can't believe how bad the CGI was considering the movie's budget. Good the hear the sequel was canceled--DC needs a reboot or something ASAP
