I got a buddy pushing me to get into bitcoin hard. Sent me a link about a guy projecting it will be worth $1M in the next few months (currently worth about $27k).

Oh, I know what you mean. I dipped my toes into it, too, just to see what it's all about, and boy, it's been a rollercoaster!

I had a similar experience with Bitcoin. I bought a bit just to see how it works, and whoa, the journey's been interesting.

I remember when I first got into crypto, the ups and downs had me on the edge of my seat, too. It's interesting how Bitcoin has managed to hold its ground despite the ups and downs, and I'm sure many of us have been watching for the perfect moment to jump back in.

never understood the appeal of crypto, no government is going to just give up their monopoly on issuing currency

way too easy for them to just close off the exit ramps, never got a satisfying answer from the crypto dupes about this

crypto was mega fun ~ 2 years ago when everything was going up

then everything went down

and lots of frauds exposed, tokens stolen, people hacked, and NFTs sank to zero

it attracts the worst of the worst grifters

and is so incredibly fun when it is going right

the memes can be fantastic

i have ebbed and flowed in the space

it is exhausting

the discords, the twitter, the 24h token markets, the NFT communities

so easy to get burnt out

but also can be so fun

and tragic

The volatility keeps us on our toes, right? I totally get you on waiting for a dip to buy more. It's like a roller coaster you want to ride again, and it's especially good with services like Quantum AI. Let's see where the crypto adventure takes us next!
